The Response of Reinforced Concrete Composite Beams Reinforced with Pultruded GFRP to Repeated Loads

This paper investigates the experimental response of composite reinforced concrete with GFRP and steel I-sections under limited cycles repeated load. The practical work included testing four beams. A reference beam, two beams pultruded I-sections, a beam I-beam were subjected to loading. loading test started by gradually up maximum 75% ultimate static failure load for five unloading cycles. After that, specimens reloaded until failure. All tested three-point Experimental results showed that ductility index increased relative specimen 156.2% shear connectors, 148.6% without 96% I-section.
